Deburring the inclined surface of a circle with a form tool
NC5005
NC program for deburring a circular stud or a hole on an inclined surface You use a form tool that moves only in the three linear axes. At the beginning of the program you define all required parameters. In the example program, the control then calls a further program with which the control mills the circular stud and then mills the surface at a slant. In this program you have to adapt the tools, the entries in the cycles or, depending on the application, the cycles themselves. In the main program, after the program call, you then define the tool with which the workpiece is to be deburred. Then the control calculates the tool path and traverses it. The path consists of linear segments for which the control calculates the X, Y and Z coordinates of each of the end points. With the parameter of the pitch, you define the number of linear paths into which the 360 degrees are to be divided.
The depth and radius defined in the parameters refer to the tool tip, so that any desired offset of the tool inward, outward or in depth must be considered in the definition!
