Saving the measuring log on a network drive
NC FAQ1029
Question:
Can a measuring cycle log (touch-probe cycles 420 to 431) also be saved on a network drive?
Answer:
In the factory setting, the TNC saves the measuring log in the directory on the TNC hard disk from which the measuring cycle was called or run. However, in the MOD function for setting up the interface, you can enter any path to which the TNC should save the measuring log.
Prerequisites:
- You need to have write-permission to this network drive or directory
- The network drive is connected at the time the cycle is called
- You have entered the path correctly under
