Programming station causes error message from virus scanner

After installing the programming station, the virus scanner reports error messages.

Answer:

There is a system setting in Windows where you can grant access to selectable programs. Proceed as follows:

> Open the Windows Control Panel

> Select the system properties (System)

> Select the Advanced tab

> Click the Settings button in the Performance pane

> Select the Data Execution Prevention tab

> In order to grant specific access to the system, activate the “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select” option

> Click the “Add” button

> Add the file plc.exe from the programming station directory sys\bin and confirm with OK.
