Processing DXF data

Question:

In some DXF files, some of the contour elements seem to be missing on the TNC, although they are in the original file. Why?

Answer:

The DXF file presumably contains splines or ellipses, which the TNC does not support. Convert them into lines, and then the TNC will display the contour correctly.

The TNC supports the DXF elements LINE, CIRCLE, polylines and ARC.
