PROBING ROT soft key not active

Question:

The PROBING ROT soft key for measuring a basic rotation does not appear on my control. What is the reason?

Answer:

You have accidentally or intentionally activated the function for tilting the working plane.

Use the 3D ROT soft key to check whether tilting is active, and deactivate it if it is. No basic rotation can be measured if the function for tilting the working plane is active.
