Creating a conversational program from a DXF file
NC FAQ1070
Question:
My programming station shows a *.A file when I create a conversational program from a DXF file. What am I doing wrong?
Answer:
With the programming station you can open a *.DXF file that is on any PC drive. You can also select elements or points, but the file created from them (SAVE SELECTED ELEMENTS soft key) is not a *.H or *.PNT file, but rather a *.A file (ASCII file).
Solution: Copy the *.DXF file to TNC:\ first, and then repeat the procedure.
