Automatic shutdown of the machine at the end of program run

Question:

Can the machine be shut down automatically via a control function (such as an M function) at the end of program execution on the “ghost shift”, i.e., during unattended operation? I mean switching off all components and then shutting down the control, as is the case when the main switch of the machine is used.

This functionality is possible in principle, but it must be realized via the PLC program of your machine manufacturer. Please contact your machine manufacturer if you require this functionality.
