Alternative text editor

I would like to use my UltraEdit text editor instead of the provided Notepad. How do I proceed?

Answer:

In the current TNCremo version, you can select the text editor under  Extras  > Settings. 

The possibility to select text editors has been integrated as of version 2.0. However, to be able to use this feature with these versions you need to change the registry. Start RegEdit. Find the \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HEIDENHAIN\TNCremoNT key. There, create a new string named TextEditor. Enter the path for calling your editor as the string contents. For example, “C:\Program Files\Ultraedt\Uedit32.exe”.
